Skating treadmill · Gloucester
Power-skating training in East Ottawa, year-round
Ice time is expensive and hard to book, and a full practice gives each skater only a few minutes of focused stride work. On the skating treadmill, every rep is skating. A coach watches each stride up close and can correct edges, posture and push-off as they happen.
Titan Performance Centre is at 813 Shefford Road in Gloucester, a short drive for families in Beacon Hill, Blackburn Hamlet, Orléans and across East Ottawa. Sessions run all year, so skaters can keep working on their stride in the off-season and between team practices.
What sessions focus on
- Edge control on inside and outside edges
- A longer, more powerful stride and full leg extension
- Body position and balance over the skate
- Building skating endurance through repeated stride work
Who it suits
- Minor hockey players getting ready for tryouts or a new season
- Players who want to fix a specific stride habit
- Small groups of up to three skaters sharing a session
- Athletes pairing treadmill work with off-ice training at Titan
